King David Musical & Lantern Festival

King David Musical was SO TOTALLY COOL, especially if i was 10, haha. They really know how to reach out to little kids. Gloria and Lionel (one of her poly exclassmates whom i befriended) picked me up from home in a cab. She had invited 2 other exclassmates for the musical too, it was evangelistic. There were irritating puppets, but lotsa balloons, noisemakers, lightsticks and big bouncy balls throughout the show. And it was interactive, like the sign says "BAA" and we must all go "BAAAA" (like sheep). Quite fun! All the small tiny kids in costumes were so farnie.

After that, we all went to harbourfront to eat dinner. And was like practically being chased and shooed out of the food court when we were not yet done with our meal by the cleaner. Sheesh! Went back to glor's place and they convinced me to stay on with them to play lanterns and sparklers on Mt Faber. By the time we started, it was already almost midnight, haha. We delay here, delay there... It was loads of fun! Here are a couple of photos..
















We sorta build a small fire on that grass patch and the table, haha, tried to light all the sparklers at one go! And then throw them down the hill like shooting stars (we cleaned up the place of cos, most of it at least). My lantern was the last survivor that wasn't burnt up, had to resort to tricking hong zhen (guy in adidas shirt) that i caught a frog (it was a leaf) just so to keep him from stuffing his sparkler into my lantern. It was HILAROUS!!
Later, we went back down, a few left for home and 4 of us went to newton hawker centre @ ard 2am for supper. One of them actually went all the way back to gloria's place for MOONCAKES that she forgot to take with her, even though she was dead tired. Hong Zhen was complaining all the way about the illogical-ness...


Oh yeah, i forgot to mentioned i got a tattoo on my right ankle near underwater world. I dragged Gloria to do it too, her bdae present part II, haha. Here it is, pretty cool huh? She chose the pattern. And mine is a mixture of red and black... Said suppose to last fro 2 wks, but i think it will fade off earlier...

Anyways, getting back, i reached home about 3 i think. Stomach full and sides aching from laughing so much..
