In memory of Utt and beau...1

Utt and Beau passed away last weekend, Utt on sat, Beau on sun. This few posts are gonna be a dedication to the 2 cockatiels, for anyone and eso those who knew them. Did everything i could, which in itself was hard cos i was sick, to help them but too late, cos they already had an intestinal infection hiding, and during the stress of a new home, it came out, and their health deteriorated v fast. This is also in honor of glor, my bestest best friend, who on sunday did me a big favor. I called her for help cos lance was busy and i couldn't reach my dad or sis (their hp batt both died), and she left her friends at holland V, took a cab home, exaggerate to her mom tt pup was the one sick, took the car, picked me up, fetch me to my vet at Sembawang, and back home. The clinic was closed but they met me there to passed me the antibiotics and to drop off stool samples. I accompanied her to eat prata and buy some pet supplies (i've become a walking petstore discount card). Thanks girl, i really owe u one. Even tho Beau died a couple hours later...

A few facts abt them: They're from pauline and lance bought them for my christmas 2004 birthday present, so they're abt 2 yrs old. They had a younger sibling and a lutino companion, but both died when they were still being handfed. Utt is the oldest (male) and Beau is her younger sister, who gets bullied by Utt who plucks her neck feathers (literally, older siblings are a 'pain in the neck'!). She had to go for rehab at lance's place for period of time. Yet, he's her sticky pad, going crazy w/o her. However, she made friends at his house, and came back to lay a batch of 4 eggs on the floor over period of 3 weeks, 2 weeks ago. Tho not his, he had fiercely helped her to defend it from the playful budgies. It was unsanitary, so i had to remove them when i washed the cage. Sitting on the floor and the energy required to care for the eggs could've caused their illness actually, even though a couple of nights she had left them alone. oh, and utt is jamie's adopted bf.
