Intramurals...and condoms

Well, in the midst of my third wk and all well. Had a french test just this morn which i had to mug for the whole day yest once i returned fm school. Cooked mash potatoes at the same time, but no masher and one of the new roommate suggested the blender, but it didn't turn out well and my mash potatoes were kinda sticky and i think the blender overheated and might be dead, heh, i'm too scared to check..(:

Have been eating mash potatoes and stir fried veg for the last couple of meals. I find it easier to just cook a big batch each time and just have left overs haha, The mix veg is really good, w peas, sweet peas, bok choi, etc, all washed (of cos i rinsed again) and chopped fm Trader Joe's (1 of the supermkt here) so tt was cool. I'm thinking of doing a soup next but haven't decided which one to do, but any should be fine since i hadn't hv soup since being in Singapore. I miss jap and indian food, but someone or another friends hv been sick by each food so they all dont wanna eat that...

One of the roommate, Melanie is offering to cook for all of us in this apartment this sunday, so tt's cool. Oh, haven't really said y they 2 are moving in, cos they had weird unfriendly roommates that the apartment stunk, had ants all over, dont clean up and left like a bone in the cabinet. Thinking abt it, maybe they did it on purpose so as to chase them out! Well, they 2 are pretty ok, so tt's fine. I'm flexible anyways. SO since i'm not moving to the other room, next chore is to clean the bathtub/shower area and the floor in my toilet. So gross, got dust and all. I dont even dare to touch the walls. OH and once after i cooked and greg came over, we were looking for the tv remote and greg picked up the sofa cushions (i didn't cos i bet it was dirty underneath) and found a USED CONDOM. TOTALLY GROSSSSSSSSSSSSSS> I asked erin whether last sem they ever cleared under the sofa and she said no, then i told her abt it. It is SO NASTY. Dunno how long its been there somemore. Crap. Luckily greg the hero cleared it for me. He almost picked it up w his bare hands and i, for the first time in my life) almost screamed. So he took a paper towel and threw it away. I don't sit on the part of the sofa much anymore haha.

Ok going to play soccer w pierre now. Phillippe can't make it cos of class ltr. Today's the last day and we want to sign up for intramural soccer. Competitive outdoor and maybe recreational indoor. I wanted women's bball too but i think i'll be way shorter than the pple here (nothing new...but...) and anyways its the same time as indoor soccer. Au revoir!
