great start...scary middle...bummed end

since wed, days have be pretty good. And meant to play soccer w pierre, but since pitch was taken, we played bball instead. i can't rem wad i did on thur, but since i can't rem anything bad, i guess it must've been good, haha. I think i boiled soup and stirfried veggie meat. I think just schooling. Friday i literally only stepped out of the house to go to class in the late morn. Other than that, i just ate and watched TV todos los dias! I think my friends might've tot i was crazy for doing that on a friday (of which all of them went out but i didn't feel like gg) BUT tv was great! Watched new (to me) tv series like Psyche and had House too! Yeehaa! And of cos loads of Charmed, Law and Order (criminal intent and special victim unit), That's 70's Show, Seinfield, Becker, Judging Amy, King of Queens, King of the Hill.....u get the idea.

Sat i (again) sat and ate and watched tv haha... ok but i did a bit of work (i really should've done more, but owells). And received a package! It was big box so had to collect fm the front desk (the only time i stepped out of the appartment). It was fm Lance! He sent 2 containers of mini shrimp rolls, an Archie comic, a cd, a post-it note and a drinking container w our photos in it. I happily ate the shrimp rolls while watched tv, and read the comic during advertisment haha. And i found out he had written sweet notes all inside the book too! It was really nice. And at night when i played the cd, it was full of love songs, including songs that had significance to our humble beginnings! I was so touch-ed that he remembered them all too. I played the songs to sleep and they really gave me a great night's rest, very soothing! And of cos it reminds me of him so it was comfy. The rest of the nights, unless i come home real late, i usually take some time to fall aslp, dunno y also. Anyways, that night i went out w my frens to the pub round the corner cos erin wanted to hv a drink w greg and of cos the rest was there. I actually held myself back and only bought 1 drink after waiting a long while, so tt's gd. I learnt to play darts (as in how to count scores and all) and
played a couple of games: once paired w isa vs greg and erin, and second vs adeline. I won both rounds! Was so great, maybe i should pick up darts...hmm.... Made plans to play soccer the next day w the french guys.

Sun morn i ate a breakfast and then lunch straight after. And the sun was so beautiful, i couldn't wait for the rest to get up! I nicknamed on msn for them to hurry get up and see the oh so fine sun! So once one by one they were up, they contacted me. I did some french homework before leaving for the beeaauuooootiful pitch. At first just me and pierre maxime, so we just played among ourselves and practice some juggling and passing and shooting. Den quite a big bunch of locals who were really good came and shot too. Den they invited us to play w them, so we did! Finally phillippe came and joined in. iza did but she didn't wanna play. After that, Chris, Shil and another girl fm pedro came and join, so we had to make the field bigger and play shirt-off shirt-on teams, and since i was in the shirt-off team.......(no i didn't go shirt-off....this time. Too cold haha) so had to take lots of butts abt that. Talking abt butts, i got rammed in the butt by phillippe, and it still hurt at night. Den the locals left and greg and jebel (i dunno how to spell) came and we convinced them to play. And of cos then more fun cos all we know one. Greg didnt wanna play but he was so huge he was a brillant gk, after all when a giant charges towards u, its hard for anyone to shoot. After almost 5 hours of soccer, we limped back home. I showered, did laundery, my spanish compo, and off to dinner at an Italian's place tt erin brought us to.

While waiting for the pedro pple, me, erin and greg were at the carpark. We heard some lady screaming, and tt's pretty normal so we ignored it until it didn't stop after a while. We were like wad the heck, and looking down the street to see the commotion. And a lady was screaming "Help! Help! Somebody help me! Oh God, help! Police! Police! God why won't anybody help me!" and as we heard the shouts getting nearer, a lady carrying an infant was tearing down the street across the rd and kept glancing behind her. I wanted so bad to help but i had no idea how to! Esp if someone was after her, i couldn't really do much to protect her and her baby. Anyways, she ran into the building diagonal fm us to find help i suppose. A few guards fm the building we were at came out to see wad had happen. A guy came up on a bicycle and told them the story. What i could hear was tt he saw some guy came up fm behind her and grabbed her and the baby and shouted "u stole the baby fm me!" He tried to help but the lady ran off. So....crazy. A bit scary too, can rem the way the lady kept on screaming.... Welcome to San Fran was wad the locals there said.

Anyways, pizza was gd, and headed back. Philippe had said he would come check thru my compo, and surprisingly (nicely surprised) he called and came abt 2am after he got back and even tho we were both tired in the dark (erin was aslp) he checked it thru! I was so impressed and amazed that he is a man of his word! Respect that in a person, really i do. Esp when he has no gain in all this and its such a small thing.

Mon was aching day, with pain walking up the stairs to school, and then to lone mountain. So not much done but school work and tv cos so pain. Tue was ok. 830 class didn't show up so waste my time in waking up so early and dragging 2 additional heavy stuff w me. At least i forced myself to do some work b4 spanish. And i received ANOTHER 'surprise' fm lance! It was a big bunch of flowers, and i like the company it was fm becos they were environmentally friendly in almost every detail and encouraged consumers to be too! Followed their instructions, and now i have 26 bright red roses in a glass vase on my table next to me. They stay pretty fresh here, hope they can last till lance comes next wk so he can see. While watching tv, on the spur of the moment, melanie and erin asked me if i wanted to join them at the gym, and i did! Did some gd strenous exercises so pretty pleased abt tt. BUT i forgot to go for cell again! argh! I will try to go to the church this sun. Hard cos i gotta take the earliest BART train, and i will still be a little late for the pastor's pickup! Dunno how, must find a way to arrange. But through all these, God certainly is great!

Wed, St. Valentine's Day, was busy with friends giving stuff and making plans. But i gave nothing and had no plans haha. Melanie my new roommate has like a millions plans till sunday with her boyfriend...Monica came back looking like they (she and jordan) were at a prom haha. Erin left me a nice note in the toilet and greg gave me a note and sweets (which weren't tt gd cos i don't eat choc, but at least got werther's original!). But somehow, today in the afternoon, while i tried to study, wasn't succesful cos kept thinking of lance. I dont think its cos of valentines, but cos of the thought that he's gonna be here in a week's time! Cos i nvr really missed him until lydat before since i was here...so ya. Well, at least i'm almost done with my studying for my spanish test tmr. Sucks cos i had to miss gg out w frens yest and tonight, and couldn't join them for bball today evening too! And after tt, gotta rush for CNY dinner prep, thru the skiing trip and outing and president day outing and CNY parade, cos lance coming soon too. And after that got TWO tests! sucks. here's to the end of the tests!
